🇺🇸 Patriot Day: Join Women Who Served Colorado Veterans in Supporting Carry The Load Fort Logan National Cemetery 🇺🇸
On Patriot Day, let’s come together to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and recognize the sacrifices of our military, veterans, first responders, and their families. Together, we’ll honor those forever impacted by the events of 9/11 by volunteering at Fort Logan National Cemetery, where we’ll help clean veterans’ headstones as a tribute to their service and sacrifice.
In the spirit of service, Women Who Served: Colorado Veterans is putting together a group to participate in Carry The Load, and we’d love for you to join us.
❤️ Whether you’re a woman veteran, family member, or supporter, this is a wonderful opportunity to stand together in remembrance and service.

Check-In: 9:15 AM • Welcome & Instructions: 10:00 AM • Event Ends: 1:00 PM
Parking: Throughout the cemetery. Please follow staff directions on-site for parking (Click to view the cemetery map)
Meeting Location: At the Public Information Center
What to Bring
- Work gloves
- Buckets
- Soft-bristle brushes
- Drinking Water
A Few Reminder:
- You’ll be outdoors for the duration of this event, so please be sure to check your local forecast
- Dress and hydrate properly for the weather; dress is casual and respectful, no open-toe shoes or tank tops
- Please arrive early to get parked and to the meeting location
- Parking can be limited, so please carpool and utilize rideshare when possible
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Please leave pets at home unless they are service animals
